A Legacy Overlooking Fontana Lake
We began our journey with a shared dream: to cultivate a sanctuary that honors the rugged beauty of the Smoky Mountains and the deep-rooted heritage of our family. Overlooking the serene waters of Fontana Lake, Michelle and Shannon established Baxter Hollow Farm as a tribute to legacy and natural stewardship. Here, we embrace the slow, rhythmic pulse of Appalachian life, employing natural methods to produce our rare Sourwood honey. Our farm is more than a boutique brand; it is the living legacy of Baxter, a name that inspires every drop of golden nectar we harvest.

THE LEGACY BEHIND OUR NAME
Honoring Baxter
Baxter Hollow Farm was named in honor of Shannon’s father, Baxter—a man known for his kindness, generosity, strong faith, and love of bluegrass gospel music. He never met a stranger and brought joy wherever he went.
Though he was called home in 2003, his spirit continues to inspire the values that guide everything we do today.
